Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Tiggybooks helps creative businesses run their work, from first hello to final delivery. That means we hold information about you and about your clients, and we take that responsibility seriously. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It pairs with our security overview.

Information we collect

Your account. Your name and email, your password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), and any optional details you add such as phone, job title, and business address.

Your clients’ information. The contacts, leads, questionnaire responses, e-signatures, bookings, messages, and files you create or upload while running your business. For this information you are the owner and we process it on your behalf to provide the service.

Payment information. Payments run through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep only a secure token plus the card brand, last four digits, and expiry so you can see which card is on file.

Technical information. Limited data needed to run and secure the platform, such as IP addresses recorded at sign-in, at e-signing, and on file downloads (for security and to support the legal validity of signatures), along with basic server logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide and operate Tiggybooks, process payments through your own Stripe account, send service email such as receipts and password resets, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your clients’ data for advertising.

How we protect it

Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS, enforced) and at rest in our database and file storage. Every account’s data is isolated from every other account, passwords are hashed, card numbers are never stored, and the platform is hardened against common web attacks. There is more detail on our security page.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to run the service, with trusted providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Your rights and choices

You are in control of your information. From Settings, Account info you can:

  • Export your data as a single file at any time.
  • Delete your account and all of its data permanently. Any active subscription is canceled.
  • Correct your information by editing it directly in the app.

You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages. For any privacy request or question, email us at hello@tiggybooks.com.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our systems. We may retain a limited set of records where we are required to, for example to meet tax, accounting, or legal obligations, and backups are cycled out over time.

Where your data is processed

Tiggybooks runs on established cloud providers, and your data may be processed and stored on their infrastructure. We rely on the safeguards those providers offer and limit access to what is needed to run the service.

Children

Tiggybooks is a tool for businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

As the product grows we may update this policy. When we make meaningful changes we will update the date at the top, and we will let you know if a change materially affects you.
